Wise Owls Club was founded by Tanya Galitzine-Scott in 2000 at Winbury School. Having trained at Norlands College where in 1995 she gained an NNEB, Norland Diploma in childcare , she has subsequently spent some 17 years working within the childcare sector. She is a parent herself and appreciates the many challenges of parenthood.
Today, Wise Owls provides a valuable service to busy parents of children between the ages of 3 and 13 within the three main categories of activity: Breakfast, After School and Holiday Clubs, in the Maidenhead area
Wise Owls began at Winbury School with just two children and over the intervening years has grown to the embrace many activities offered at four different locations in Maidenhead and now employs 45 highly motivated staff.
“Above all, my aim is provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment in which children can experience creative play, have fun and make friends. Because we draw from schools across Maidenhead, they have the opportunity to create lasting bonds with children they would not otherwise have known.
At Wise Owls Club, we wish the children to return home at the end of each day having had a good meal and with their homework done. That way they can spend quality time with their parent. I work hard to ensure that attending Wise Owls is a positive experience and not just ‘somewhere to go’. Busy parents can feel relaxed and focussed on their career or activities in the knowledge that their child is being cared for in a happy and safe environment.
We are fortunate to have excellent facilities for the children in our Breakfast Club, After School and Holiday Clubs which enables us to organise a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities. Holiday Clubs are always action packed to ensure that the children have lots of fun and are kept fully entertained throughout the day.”
Wise Owls Clubs are OFSTED approved and maintain the highest standards of child care throughout all our activities. Please contact us if we can be of assistance to you at any time
