The Wise Owl’s After School Clubs opened at Oldfield School in 2006, Courthouse school in 2010 and Furze Platt Senior 2015 and Holyport Scout Hut in 2015. The aim is to make the life of working parents less stressful so that the time spent at home with their children is both peaceful and enjoyable. Parents appreciate our flexibility and value the service we provide. Our daily routine involves theme-based activities often inspired by the children, so that they can relax and enjoy themselves with us. We offer structured sport and craft based activities and provide homework sessions as well as a hot evening meal. On the rare occasion that the ovens are in use by other because of other functions in the building, we will serve a cold tea.
Our staff are experienced in child care and are qualified, DBS checked and have first aid training. We comply with all OFSTED rulings.
Our minibuses are kept in good order by John Graham Commercial in Maidenhead. Our conscientious team of minibus drivers carry out daily safety checks. Our cooked evening meal is made with food from Sainsbury’s and A & B Butcher, both in Maidenhead.
You are invoiced half termly approximately 6 weeks in advance of our sessions. If you no longer require our services, you are required to give us 6 weeks’ notice in writing which we will acknowledge in writing.
